Kain finally decided to cooperate, and thus, I present In His Footsteps, my fic for mithrigil on ff_exchange. 4200 words, because Kain refused to shut up.

Also, randomly, that prompt took one of the bunnies off my huge bunny list, because I was halfway through it and realized it fit perfectly. So yay!
